However, as Billy’s dangerous fixations take over and trust shifts in unexpected directions, Sally may be set to face the ultimate heartbreak—losing both her future husband and her so-called best friend in one fell swoop.
From Deep Distrust to an Unexpected Bond
At one point, Billy couldn’t stand Audra. He was fully aware of her complex history with Kyle Abbott and how she betrayed him during their rocky relationship, as well as her repeated attempts to tear Kyle down. Billy viewed Audra as exceptionally sneaky, and he genuinely disliked seeing Sally associate with someone who had such a dubious track record in town.
However, using Sally as a bridge, Billy and Audra have surprisingly begun to bond over the past few months. Watching Audra offer constant support to Sally helped soften Billy’s stance, leading him to trust her as both Sally’s close friend and business partner. Seeing how well Sally and Audra work together as partners in Spectra Charles convinced Billy to lower his guard. But as Billy grows closer to Audra, viewers are left to wonder if he is getting far too comfortable with her for comfort.
The Complicated Dynamic Between Sally, Audra, and Billy
Audra and Sally initially forged their friendship after realizing how much common ground they shared regarding their social standing in Genoa City. Both women have experienced being treated as the town pariah at various points. Sally’s questionable past actions have certainly been held against her by local elites, while Audra continues to press her luck with influential power players like Victor Newman and the Abbotts.
Even though Sally and Audra are officially business partners in Spectra Charles, that professional bond doesn’t guarantee Audra is above backstabbing her friend. Audra might actually step in to help by reminding Billy of how much his ongoing Chancellor obsession is hurting and distressing Sally. Yet, in the process of trying to smooth things over, Billy just might manage to literally charm the dress right off of her.
Sally Reaches Her Limit as Billy’s Fixation Grows
Let’s be honest: Sally has put up with a tremendous amount of stress from Billy, but his current trajectory may prove to be the final straw. Billy and Sally originally embarked on their new business venture together before he suddenly backed out to launch another crusade for Chancellor.
Sally has had to hear endless updates about Chancellor, and Billy’s consuming fixation is understandably grating on her last nerve. If Sally finally loses her temper and confronts Billy over his neglect, a stressed-out Billy could naturally seek solace elsewhere. In the aftermath of a major fight between the engaged couple, Audra might end up stepping in to comfort him.
Could comfort quickly turn into something far more scandalous? It seems entirely possible that Audra and Billy could end up crossing the line and waking up in bed together, only realizing the catastrophic gravity of their actions after the fact.
If Billy ends up sleeping with Audra, Sally would be left dealing with a crushing dual blow, effectively losing her trusted partner and her future groom at the same time. Would a heartbroken Sally be forced to raise her baby and run Spectra Charles entirely on her own?
