A Terrifying Crash and Patty Williams’ Unhinged Escape
A high-stakes departure from Genoa City has turned into an absolute disaster, leaving a trail of destruction and bringing an unhinged threat rushing straight back toward town. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) manages to leave town with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), believing he could guide the situation toward a peaceful resolution. However, things quickly deteriorate when Patty realizes Matt’s true intention is for her to turn herself in to the police.
Refusing to face justice, Patty takes violent, desperate measures to stop him. Grabbing the steering wheel, she forces the car into a violent wreck, leaving Matt unconscious inside the ruined vehicle. Rather than helping him, Patty abandons Matt at the crash scene and rushes back toward Genoa City. Unbeknownst to Matt, Patty is driven by a delusion that she can crash an upcoming wedding, snatch Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and run away with him. Of course, Jack wants absolutely no part of Patty or her unhinged fantasies.
