At the center of the storm is Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who finds himself pulling back on the reins with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) because he simply cannot shake his deep, complicated connection to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Over at the athletic club, midday dining brings its own relationship drama for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox).
