An out-of-control Drew Cain is pushing his thirst for vengeance to dangerous new limits in Port Charles. Consumed by rage and paranoia over missing his daughter, Drew seizes a volatile situation to lash out at Sonny Corinthos and Alexis Davis, orchestrating an intricate frame-up plot designed to tear their lives apart.
Drew’s Desperate Hunt and Violent Confrontation
The chaos kicks off when Drew discovers Scout Cain missing from her room. Tracking her whereabouts as far as Sonny’s house, Drew arrives in a complete frenzy. Demanding answers, he aggressively bangs on Sonny’s door and insists the mob boss produce his daughter immediately.
Alexis, who is at the house preparing legal paperwork for Sonny, is not remotely surprised by Drew’s abrupt arrival. The teenagers had indeed visited earlier, allowing Alexis to share a few precious moments with her granddaughter. However, Scout and Rocco Falconeri left with a head start well before Drew showed up. Aware of Drew’s unstable state, Sonny and Alexis warned the teens not to agitate her father or do anything that could draw his wrath.
An agitated Drew refuses to take Sonny at his word when told Scout isn’t there, even threatening to summon the sheriff. The situation escalates further when Drew spots Alexis inside. Instantly convinced that Sonny and Alexis have conspired to hide Scout away from him, his paranoia skyrockets.
First Kisses and Island Adventures Away from the Drama
Unaware of the storm brewing at Sonny’s doorstep, Scout is actually safe at the Quartermaine boathouse with Rocco. Away from the family drama, the two take a swim in the lake and share their first kiss.
Scout is at least clear of getting caught with Danny Morgan, who embarked on a kayaking trip to Egret Island alongside Charlotte Cassadine.
A Frame-Up Spree: From Nina’s Car to Sonny’s Living Room
Before storming over to Sonny’s property, Drew had already put in a busy day of criminal scheming. To raise funds for the upcoming liquidation auction of Jenz Sidwell’s assets—which include Sonny’s former piers—Drew signed off on several assets with attorney Martin Grey.
Alongside his business moves, Drew launched a stealthy frame-up campaign by breaking into Nina Reeves’ car and planting Jack Brennan’s wallet inside.
When faced with Sonny’s refusal to let him search the house for Scout, Drew convinces himself that the resistance is proof of a cover-up. He calculates that if Scout was recently there, her DNA should still be present. Sensing that Drew is merely blowing off steam and recognizing that he lacks the legal authority of a cop to demand a warrant, Alexis convinces a reluctant Sonny to let him search the premises, confident he will find nothing.
Stealing Evidence to Set the Trap
Although Drew comes up empty-handed during his walk-through, he doesn’t leave empty-handed. Taking advantage of moments when Sonny and Alexis aren’t looking, Drew manages to steal personal items belonging to both of them.
Using the exact same tactic he employed against Nina, Drew formulates a devious plan to stage a fake kidnapping. He plans to plant Sonny and Alexis’ personal belongings inside his own home while sneaking items containing Scout’s DNA into both Sonny and Alexis’ vehicles. Once the staged evidence is firmly in place, Drew intends to call the sheriff to accuse them directly.
Will Drew’s unhinged revenge plan succeed in putting Sonny and Alexis behind bars, or will his mounting trail of planted evidence finally expose his underhanded schemes to law enforcement?
