General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Bans Drew, Willow Smugs Up, and Suspicions Surge

Tracy Quartermaine Refuses to Welcome Drew Back Home
Here’s my take: Tracy Quartermaine has zero interest in playing nice just because Drew Cain had a sudden medical turnaround. General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 29, reveal that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri will be the one to spread the news about Drew’s miraculous recovery to the family, but it isn’t an update the Quartermaines necessarily want to hear.
During a gathering with Ned Quartermaine, Olivia Quartermaine, and Danny Morgan, Gio drops the bombshell. While Tracy may be glad on some level that Drew is alive and well, she draws a hard line when it comes to her family home.
“Drew? On this property? Not happening!” Tracy snaps in the promo. She is making it crystal clear that a recovered Drew will not be stepping foot back onto the Quartermaine estate.
Drew’s Shocking Recovery Stuns General Hospital and Alexis
Meanwhile, Drew is making the rounds across Port Charles to ensure everyone knows he is back on his feet. His sudden reappearance leaves hospital staff utterly floored. Felicia Scorpio looks ecstatic to see him up and about, but Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin is completely stunned by his medical status.
“How is this possible?” Liz exclaims, baffled by his rapid turnaround.
Drew’s victory tour also takes him straight to Alexis Davis, throwing her off her game. There is a strong chance Drew visits Alexis to declare his intention to take charge of his daughter, letting her know that Scout Cain will be living with him moving forward. The tension between them escalates quickly during the visit, leading Drew to defensively ask, “Is that a threat?” in Wednesday’s preview.
Guilt at the WSB and Willow’s Unstoppable Confidence
Over at WSB headquarters, Jack Brennan is drowning in guilt over how severely things spiraled with Drew. Brennan confesses to Nina Reeves that he believes everything is his fault. Viewers are left wondering whether Nina will step up to reassure her new beau that he shouldn’t take all the blame on his shoulders.
At the same time, Willow Tait is feeling completely untouchable now that she seems to have escaped consequences for what she put Drew through. Brimming with confidence, Willow corners Michael Corinthos for a tense sit-down.
In a smug moment from the preview, Willow tells Michael, “I gotta say Michael, I really like my chances!”
With Willow feeling scot-free and actively divorcing Drew, fans are speculating whether she might push for 50/50 custody of the kids now that she believes her hands are clean. Meanwhile, Michael is preparing to execute a mysterious power move of his own. It remains to be seen whether his bold strategy is aimed directly at countering Willow’s arrogance or if it involves his new shares in Deception.
Suspicions Swirl Around Drew’s Secretive Silence
Rounding out Wednesday’s developments, paranoia is spreading through town regarding Drew’s strange post-awakening behavior. Ava Jerome will be growing increasingly suspicious as pieces of the puzzle fail to add up.
Ava isn’t the only one raising an eyebrow. Kai Taylor and Trina Robinson are also feeling paranoid, openly questioning why Drew hasn’t gone straight to the police since making his sudden recovery.
As Drew continues his return tour while keeping the authorities out of the loop, how long can he hide his true intentions before Port Charles uncovers what really happened? Will Michael’s power move put a stop to Willow’s cocky attitude, or is she truly in the driver’s seat?
