General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Recruits Brick to Sabotage Carly and Valentin’s Love Life

Port Charles is brace for an absolute whirlwind of emotional reckonings, long-awaited homecomings, and calculated acts of sabotage. General Hospital spoilers for the next two weeks, spanning July 13 to July 24, reveal that the excitement is about to heat up significantly on the ABC soap. Legacy lines will be drawn in the sand as a legendary figure reclaims his freedom, while a relentless ex-husband refuses to let go of the past, setting the stage for major romantic fallout and dangerous corporate warfare.

The Milestone 16,000th Episode and a Sizzling New Surgeon

During the action-packed week of July 13-17, the canvas will hit a historic milestone with the show’s 16,000th episode. Marking this momentous occasion is the long-awaited return of Jason Morgan, who will finally be granted his hard-won freedom and head straight back to Port Charles. However, he isn’t the only face shaking up the town; the landmark episode will also feature the very first appearance of a sizzling new surgeon named Dr. Tristan Roberts, portrayed by newcomer Dean Geyer.

Dr. Roberts’ arrival will immediately cause friction in the medical corridors. Britt Westbourne is slated to have a highly tense initial encounter with Tristan, a rocky introduction that sets them up to be bitter enemies right out of the gate. Of course, seasoned viewers know that professional hostility can be a thin veil for attraction, and that dynamic could easily change depending on what exact romantic plans the writing team might have in mind for these two moving forward.

Boardroom Battles, Hallucinations, and Silent Targets

Away from the operating room, the administrative side of the hospital is gearing up for an explosive conflict. It looks like Willow Cain may successfully score herself a highly coveted GH board seat. Unsurprisingly, this major acquisition of authority is set to completely enrage Tracy Quartermaine, setting up a fierce corporate battle for control.

Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine will find himself dealing with growing suspicions. It seems possible that Valentin might ultimately sense that something deeply odd is going on with Anna Devane. Anna is desperately trying to control a dark internal crisis, actively concealing the terrifying fact that she is suffering from vivid hallucinations of the deceased Peter August.

Across town, the stakes turn lethal as Kai Taylor realizes that Drew Cain is miraculously becoming mobile again. With Drew’s physical recovery progressing, Kai may fear that a desperate Willow could try to permanently wipe Drew off the map in order to silence him before he can speak.

Rising Romances, Sudden Labor, and Family Deceptions

In the midst of the chaos, unexpected alliances are beginning to strengthen. Nina Reeves and Jack Brennan will find themselves doing some intense strategizing together. As they navigate their mutual interests, Nina will eventually make Brennan her ultimate confidant. Through these shared secrets, the pair will grow much closer, continually inching toward a legitimate daytime romance.

Over at Portia Robinson’s house, a surprise visitor arrives when Jordan Ashford stops by. With confirmed reports indicating that an emotional confrontation will send Portia into sudden labor very soon, it appears highly possible that Jordan’s unexpected visit will play a direct role in triggering the medical emergency. If the situation escalates rapidly, Jordan might find herself forced to help deliver the baby right then and there, or at the very least, scramble to get Portia to the hospital as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the younger generation is celebrating professional victories. Trina Robinson and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri are both set to receive some highly exciting musical offers following their successful joint showcase performance.

However, things take a tragic turn for young James West. Cody Bell may be the one tasked with breaking the devastating news to the boy that Cassius Faison—who had been operating under the guise of fake Nathan West—is officially deceased. As a result, James may find out the shocking truth that “Nathan” was actually his biological uncle, and that Cassius was deeply tangled up in some incredibly bad things. This complex revelation could easily lead to James lashing out in anger, and perhaps even entering into a state of deep denial about the whole situation. While the audience knows that Cassius is secretly still alive, poor James will have to mourn the loss of his supposed father figure anyway.

Sonny’s Sabotage and Jason’s Heavy Ultimatum

As the calendar moves into the week of July 20-24, Carly Spencer will attempt to establish strict boundaries. She will firmly push Sonny Corinthos to back off entirely, demanding that he let her run her own love life without his constant interference. Unfortunately, the volatile mob kingpin has no intention of listening to her warnings. Instead, it looks like Sonny will officially ask his trusted associate Brick for help executing a covert plan to completely sabotage Carly and Valentin’s budding romance.

Upon his return, Jason will finally have a golden opportunity to catch up with plenty of familiar faces across town. During these emotional reunions, he will ultimately reveal a huge, life-altering decision. Since Jason’s grueling time in captivity has profoundly changed him, he may choose to shift his entire focus toward protecting his family, potentially walking away from the mob entirely.

That said, Jason will harbor massive concerns regarding the absolute trust that Sonny has suddenly placed in Ric Lansing. While Sonny will fully understand why his old enforcer is incredibly wary, he will firmly defend Ric’s presence, suggesting to a skeptical Jason that he will simply have to find a way to get along with him.

A Vengeful Path and Fresh New Faces

As the final days of July unfold, Anna’s mental state continues to fracture. Her terrifying Peter visions will keep pushing her down a highly vengeful path dominated by pain and destruction, threatening to ruin her relationships.

The summer season will also usher in some anticipated cast shakeups. Kayden Brenna Tokarski will officially make her debut as an aged-up Scout Quartermaine, while Kelly Kruger steps into the role of Serena Baldwin, bringing fresh energy to these legacy roles.

Finally, the fallout from a violent encounter will return to haunt the Falconeri household. Spoilers reveal that Rocco Falconeri will face some major, impending drama directly related to his traumatic role in the shooting of Ross Cullum.

With multiple lives hanging in the balance, Port Charles is teetering on the edge of a total transformation. Will Carly discover Sonny’s toxic interference before it ruins her chance at happiness, and can Jason truly survive turning his back on the mob lifestyle?
