General Hospital Spoilers: Sidwell Targets Sonny with Justine Kidnapping, Nina Saves Brennan, and “Nathan” is Exposed!

A Deadly Trap Snaps Shut: Sidwell Targets Sonny
The danger in Port Charles is reaching a fever pitch, and multiple lives are hanging in the balance as Jenz Sidwell continues to call the absolute shots. Holding a weapon and basking in total control at the gallery, Sidwell has forced Ava Jerome, Ethan Lovett, and ADA Justine Turner into a terrifying position where compliance is their only hope for survival.
However, it is Justine who finds herself facing the most immediate, life-threatening peril. Sidwell is looking to settle a major score, and he decides to make the panicked ADA a central piece of his elaborate setup against Sonny Corinthos. By abducting Justine, Sidwell plans to use her as the ultimate bait to lure Sonny into the exact confrontation he has been eagerly waiting for.
Meanwhile, unaware of the impending storm, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri doubles down on his decision to stay at Sonny’s place. But the peace won’t last long. Once Sonny discovers that Justine has been kidnapped and is in serious trouble, the mob kingpin will undoubtedly step up to face Sidwell, just as the villain anticipated. Knowing the lethal stakes, Sonny will almost certainly want to keep young Gio as far away from the crossfire as possible. As the drama heats up and Sonny prepares to react, Ava explodes over the relentless havoc Sidwell keeps wreaking on everyone around him. In the midst of her terror and frustration, she may soon find some rather surprising comfort from Ethan.
Nina’s Heroics and Lucas’s Impending Shock
Over at Turning Woods, a desperate medical crisis unfolds. Nina Reeves steps up to take a much closer look at Jack Brennan, whom she discovers in horrific shape following Ross Cullum’s deadly scheme. The situation is as dire as it gets; Brennan is not even breathing when Nina first finds him. Refusing to let him slip away, Nina fiercely comes through for Brennan in a monumental way, ultimately saving him from an early grave.
While Brennan gets a second chance at life, Lucas Jones is about to have his world turned upside down. Lucas is set to receive some breaking news that leaves him completely reeling. What could cause such a massive shockwave? It is possible the news involves Carly Spencer, especially if Lucas learns that she recklessly dashed off to Wyndemere without him. However, there is also a distinct chance that Lucas’s world will be rocked by the explosive revelation that “Detective Nathan West” is not the real deal, a stunning piece of information that begins spreading rapidly through Port Charles.
The “Nathan West” Imposter Charade Crumbles
The walls are officially closing in on the man everyone believed to be Nathan West. Joe Fitzpatrick knows the truth: the man masquerading as the beloved detective is actually the dirty and dangerous Cassius Faison. Refusing to let him slip away, Joe puts out an APB on “Nathan” in a desperate bid to stop him from fleeing the city.
Cassius is already in a tight spot and trying to make a frantic break for it, and he is not planning on going alone. He attempts to kidnap young James West to take him along, but it appears his dark plans will hit a major roadblock. Cody Bell successfully intervenes to halt the active kidnapping in its tracks. Instead of successfully starting a brand-new life with the boy somewhere far away, it sounds like a cornered “Nathan” will be forced to say a hasty, heartbreaking farewell to James as his deception falls apart completely.
High Stakes and Hostages at Wyndemere
Meanwhile, the tension reaches a boiling point over at Wyndemere. Carly Spencer is busy slinking around the estate, and while listening in on a private conversation, she learns something that leaves her absolutely stunned. This jaw-dropping information could very well be the truth about Cassius posing as Nathan, and the realization that he is the person solely responsible for Josslyn getting thrown into captivity in the first place.
Down below, a terrified but determined Josslyn is desperately clinging to hope. She is counting on Liesl Obrecht to successfully unseal the electronic door lock that has them trapped in a corner. There are bound to be some incredibly tense and tricky moments as Josslyn frets over the immense pressure of cutting the exact right wire to secure their freedom.
Unfortunately for the Spencer women, things are about to get much worse before they get better. Upstairs, Carly’s luck runs out and she gets busted. Cullum is actually delighted to stumble upon Carly, as he was already planning on taking her hostage anyway to further his agenda. Seeking to shift the power dynamic, Carly may inform her captor that Valentin Cassadine is already actively working on Cullum’s total takedown over in Geneva. But don’t expect Cullum to back down easily. Spoilers tease that a furious Carly will unleash her full wrath on Cullum, fiercely demanding that he return Josslyn to her immediately—but Cullum is going to make her fight for every inch.
With Sonny walking right into Sidwell’s crosshairs and Carly trapped in a dangerous standoff at Wyndemere, the residents of Port Charles are facing threats on multiple fronts. Will Sonny manage to save Justine without walking into his own demise, and can Carly find a way to outsmart Cullum before it’s too late?
