According to the latest General Hospital spoilers for Monday, July 20, 2026, daytime fans can brace themselves for an episode where hidden motives are exposed and long-held secrets come crashing into the open. From an inappropriate romantic ask to a protective mother trying to clear the air, the emotional shockwaves are set to test the limits of family loyalty.
Willow Blindside Chase as Her Boundaries Crumble
The drama kicks off at the Quartermaine residence, where a determined Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) tracks down Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to deliver a highly shocking and inappropriate request. Chase is left utterly stunned when Willow bluntly asks him how he would feel about packing up and taking a trip with her to Washington, D.C.
This request could not come at a more volatile time for the young detective. Chase only recently engaged in a deep, emotionally heavy conversation with his wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton), regarding the negative toll his close relationship with Willow is taking on their marriage.

This scene appears to be a pre-hearing of some sort, where critical decisions are being made regarding witness selection and testimonies. The proceedings could be gearing up for Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) legal situation, or perhaps the upcoming trial of the dangerous Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Ultimately, spoilers tease that Tracy will choose to grant the risky favor requested of her.
Over at the PCPD, Assistant District Attorney Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is seeking out Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Molly has recently been forced to weigh her career options, choosing between her ongoing book tour and her demanding law career.
Perhaps she is hoping to find a way to bow out of her courtroom duties so she can head out on the road with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). If she is stepping aside, it seems highly probable that the city is preparing for Sidwell’s trial rather than Curtis’, especially since Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) specifically requested Molly handle the Sidwell case due to a conflict of interest.
Sarcasm at the PCPD and Nina’s Explosive Reaction to Brennan
Elsewhere at the station, Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) is holding an intense conversation with city councillor Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove). Joe throws his hands up in a sarcastic gesture, mockingly telling an visibly annoyed Ezra, “You don’t have anything to hide, right?”
Ezra was notably alongside Sidwell when Joe answered the fateful call with “Not-Nathan West”—otherwise known as Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey). That encounter resulted in Joe being shot, though he thankfully only sustained a flesh wound. After Sidwell fled the scene, Ezra did call 911 to ensure the young officer would survive. As for Joe, he has officially put out an APB on “Not-Nathan” as the search intensifies.
Meanwhile, a volatile situation is exploding between Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna). Things take a dark turn after the pair shared a bit of an amorous encounter over at the Brown Dog Bar. Nina brings a heavily drinking Brennan back to her place to sober up, particularly since he had been suffering from dizzy spells earlier while at Wyndemere.
However, things go off the rails when Jack apparently misinterprets Nina’s hospitable intentions. Shocked and utterly disgusted by his behavior, Nina looks him dead in the eye and calls him a “disgusting pig!” Viewers are left wondering what comes next for this explosive pair—could a well-placed slap be heading Brennan’s way, or is this fight merely a prelude to an unexpected tumble under the covers?
Lulu Drops a Monumental Truth Bomb on Sonny
Finally, a major family confrontation takes place in the Corinthos home. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) pays a direct visit to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to drop a bombshell. She tells him something he likely already suspects: Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was not the person who shot WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) on that fateful night.
Now that Cullum is officially dead and young Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) is out of immediate physical danger, Lulu feels safe confessing the truth. She explicitly informs Sonny that Jason has been taking the fall and covering up the crime to protect Rocco.
Sonny listens to her entire explanation, allowing the former father- and daughter-in-law a chance to catch up on the overwhelming amount of family drama surrounding them. It seems highly possible that Lulu is deeply worried that Rocco could still face legal charges for the shooting down the line. However, that reality is probably not going to happen, considering that Cullum is no longer alive to testify to anything in a court of law.
