General Hospital Spoilers: Is Jenz Sidwell Plotting a Pentonville Break to Destroy His Enemies?

A Suspicious Plea Deal Hints at Looming Chaos
Dangerous vendettas and impending prison break threats are looming over Port Charles, putting several prominent fan favorites directly in the crosshairs. On General Hospital, villainous mastermind Jenz Sidwell, played by Carlo Rota, surely has a few tricks left up his sleeve.
Although Sidwell recently took a plea deal that could keep him behind bars at Pentonville for 31 years—or potentially the rest of his natural life—that hardly means the correctional facility will be able to contain him. What makes the situation particularly suspicious is that someone of Sidwell’s ruthless caliber normally fights to the bitter end. Taking a plea deal feels entirely out of character unless he already has a master plan in motion.
Because the show is not treating this as an official exit for the character, viewers are left wondering if Sidwell is already plotting a daring prison break. Stealing his freedom back would give a fugitive Sidwell the perfect opportunity to unleash absolute chaos and hunt down those who crossed him. If an escape scheme plays out, at least four major Port Charles figures could become primary targets for his wrath.
1. Lucas Jones: A Quest for a Fatal Takedown
First and foremost, Sidwell will inevitably want Lucas Jones to pay a heavy price. Lucas was instrumental in setting the trap that led to Sidwell’s initial arrest, making him an obvious mark for retribution.
Furthermore, Lucas’ deep history with Marco Rios could add extra fuel to Sidwell’s vengeful fire. Because Sidwell partly blames Lucas for Marco’s demise, a fugitive Sidwell could put Lucas in grave danger. Fans are watching closely to see if Sidwell indeed targets Lucas with the ultimate goal of a fatal takedown.
2. Sonny Corinthos: Fulfilling a Deadly Promise
Naturally, Sidwell’s fierce rivalry with Sonny Corinthos would take center stage if he busts out of Pentonville. Previously, Marco wanted Sidwell to eliminate Sonny once and for all as a way to get justice for Natalia Ramirez.
At the time, Sidwell explicitly promised Sonny’s downfall, and that is a vow he likely intends to keep. Between that unfulfilled promise and the extensive bad blood that has defined their ongoing feud, Sidwell has plenty of motivation to seek out the mob kingpin the moment he slips past prison security.
3. Laura Collins: Mayhem Threatens the Family
Laura Collins is another high-profile adversary who could wind up in Sidwell’s sights after a prison getaway. Laura already has some serious turmoil heading her way following her trip to Ireland, and viewers are speculating whether Sidwell could be a major factor in that upcoming chaos.
If Sidwell decides to go after the mayor, his vengeful path could easily endanger those closest to her, potentially putting Kevin Collins and little Ace Cassadine directly in harm’s way as well.
4. Jordan Ashford: Payback for Double Betrayal
Finally, Jordan Ashford has accumulated a dangerous amount of personal risk when it comes to Sidwell. Jordan first betrayed him by divulging critical information that led law enforcement directly to his secret hideout, resulting in his recapture.
Later, Sidwell offered Jordan a bargain, proposing to fix her face in exchange for a favor. Jordan turned him down, marking her second betrayal of the dangerous crime boss. Depending on how a potential prison escape storyline unfolds, Jordan could end up paying a devastating price for refusing to play by his rules.
Which of these four targets do you think is in the most immediate danger if Jenz Sidwell breaks out of Pentonville?
