A horrifying turn of events is about to rock Port Charles to its very core on Tuesday, September 1. When a late-night swim turns into a nightmarish crime scene, the sudden death of a major player sets off a frantic chain reaction across town. From cover-ups and security breaches to lingering stalker threats and prison peril, several key residents are about to find themselves dragged into a dangerous vortex.
Stage Fright and Stalker Threats at Cat’s Eye Lounge
The evening begins with rising tension at the Cat’s Eye Lounge. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) lets Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) know that it is officially showtime, leaving Trina feeling noticeably nervous about stepping onto the stage alongside Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).
Meanwhile, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) faces a few risky moments of his own when he gets hit with a lecture from Simon (Grady Eldridge). Although Kai genuinely wants to be a supportive boyfriend, Simon suggests that the best way to help is by staying out of the way, letting the fake romance angle between Trina and Gio play out for the audience.
It remains to be seen whether Simon will successfully talk Kai into leaving the venue early. However, with Trina’s stalker actively wanting Kai out of the picture, viewers are left wondering if Kai might become the stalker’s next target sooner rather than later.
Horror in the Pool: Charlotte and Danny Find a Body
The atmosphere shifts from tense to traumatic over at the Metro Court pool. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has officially become a victim, ending up dead in the water.
When Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) goes for a swim and flips out upon encountering a body, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) jumps into the pool to help, only to realize that there is indeed a corpse floating in the water.
Together, Charlotte and Danny make a major decision after determining that Brennan is the one who has met a grim fate. Shaken by the discovery, the terrified teens may choose to bolt from the pool area rather than call the police immediately. While Danny is set to confess huge news to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in upcoming episodes, Jason’s immediate focus is elsewhere.
Carly and Jason Investigate as Ava Confronts Drew
Across the hotel, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) realizes someone has intentionally sabotaged her security system. She enlists Jason to help figure out who disabled the system and why. Once Carly manages to bring the security feeds back online, she detects suspicious activity around Brennan’s hotel suite, prompting her and Jason to head upstairs and investigate.
Before Carly and Jason arrive, Ava Jerome (Maura West) may manage to drag Drew out of the suite to avoid getting caught. However, as the situation surrounding Brennan spirals completely out of control, Ava refuses to be left holding the bag. She will want to get things straight with her partner in crime, making it clear that she has no intention of going down for this disaster alone.
Personal Schemes, Romantic Gestures, and Prison Danger
Desperate to prevent a potential catastrophe, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) turns to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) for help once again. His real agenda appears to be keeping Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) apart. Since Lulu has an upcoming meeting scheduled with Dante to discuss Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), she might use the opportunity to fish for details regarding Dante’s growing bond with Liz.
At the same time, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) catches Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) completely off guard with a sweet, romantic gesture. With Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) currently locked up, Isaiah does his best to keep Portia’s mind off her overwhelming troubles.
However, Portia’s worries are far from over. Spoilers reveal that Curtis faces severe danger behind bars now that he is connected as a cellmate to the dangerous Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
With Brennan’s death threatening to expose secrets across town, who will be held accountable for his murder, and how will Danny’s confession change everything for Jason?
