Nina’s Unheeded Warnings and a Dangerous Alliance
Before disaster struck, Nina Reeves explicitly warned Ava Jerome not to put her trust in Drew Cain. However, Ava brushed off the caution, explaining that Drew had offered to help her hit back at Sonny Corinthos, who has been refusing to fully honor their child custody agreement regarding their daughter.
Drew bonded with Ava over shared frustrations, claiming he was experiencing similar troubles with the Quartermaines over Scout Cain, having banned her maternal grandmother and aunt from contact.
