Drew Steps Up to Run Crimson
With Nina temporarily out of the picture, someone has to take the helm at the fashion publication, and Drew believes he is the right man for the job. Having previously co-founded Aurora Media alongside Sam McCall, Drew certainly knows the ins and outs of running a magazine. However, the specific fashion elements required for Crimson might pose a slight hurdle for him—though it is a skill set he could probably learn over time.
Because Crimson is situated right down the hall from Aurora and its associated departments, Drew’s new position will keep him well within arm’s reach of those watching his every move. To help bridge Drew’s lack of fashion experience, Michael plans to bring in a few knowledgeable employees with industry know-how, potentially tapping experienced staffers who have previously worked with Deception Cosmetics.
It carries a bit of difficult irony for Michael, who previously secured a job at the magazine for his girlfriend, Jacinda Bracken, before she left town. Now, Michael will have to hire a couple more qualified individuals to fill the void while Drew takes the reins.
Michael Plans to Use Drew’s Ego Against Him

Naturally, Michael brings his mother, Carly Spencer, into the loop regarding the method behind his madness. Considering that someone introduced a malicious virus into the Metro Court security system on the very night Jack Brennan disappeared, Carly strongly suspects Drew played a role in the sabotage.
Because of those heavy suspicions, Carly gives her wholehearted approval to Michael’s risky scheme. Both mother and son are hoping that if Drew is egotistical enough, he will inadvertently tell on himself while operating under the false belief that he will never get caught.
