Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Susan Fears EJ Is Turning Into Stefano DiMera

The town of Salem is hurtling toward a week packed with high-stakes searches, game-changing bombshells, and high-strung emotional confrontations. As word of Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) sudden abduction spreads across the canvas for the week of July 27-31 on Days of Our Lives, more residents are jumping in to track her down. Meanwhile, a chaotic scheme to slip out of town threatens to implode, and romantic relationships are hit with shocking demands that could reshape lives overnight.
Monday, July 27: Shady Business and Shock Demands
The week starts off with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) working double time to prove his innocence to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). Sparks constantly fly whenever these two share the screen, but now that Gabi suspects Philip and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) are behind her Gabi Chic knockoff nightmare, their already turbulent relationship hits a whole new level of tension.
Elsewhere, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is left completely reelings after Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) drops a massive bombshell and plays hardball with a brand-new demand. Meanwhile, Gus (Laddie Cain) runs into Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) gets drawn into the growing mystery surrounding Gwen’s disappearance, and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) issues a stern warning to Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
Tuesday, July 28: Breakthroughs and Reconciliations
On Tuesday, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) gather to listen to Xander’s latest theory, which suggests Xander just might end up being Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) savior. On the young-love front, Holly and Tate Black (Leo Howard) manage to reconcile their recent issues.
Over with the older crowd, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) offers an apology to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), while Marlena tries her best to convince EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to listen to his conscience before he strays too far down a dark path.
Wednesday, July 29: Family Suspicion and Busted Schemes
Midweek brings plenty of family drama. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) works overtime trying to lift Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) spirits. Desperate for answers about Gwen, Leo turns to Rafe for help as the search intensifies.
At the same time, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is back in the mix and deeply uneasy about her son. Sensing that EJ is up to no good, Susan fears he is becoming just like his late father, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Elsewhere, the escape scheme crafted by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) hits a major roadblock. The plan—already filled with holes—goes off the rails when Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) bust Lexie in a lie.
Thursday, July 30: Celebrations and Legal Moves
By Thursday, the family has reason to celebrate as Rachel DiMera (Finley Rose Slater) is released from Bayview. However, personal lives remain complicated. Alex makes a firm promise to Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) that he will not agree to Joy’s latest terms, even as Joy reaches out to Belle Black (Martha Madison) for legal advice to push her agenda forward.
Meanwhile, Gabi delivers another shocker to Philip that could derail his efforts to clear his name.
Friday, July 31: The Alamainia Rescue Mission
The week concludes with high-voltage revelations. Abe and Theo pull off another surprise for Lexie as her situation reaches a breaking point. On the investigation front, Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) fills Rafe in on the very latest details regarding Gwen’s whereabouts.
Determined to save his friend, Leo becomes desperate to reach Alamainia to get her back. With Leo heading overseas, viewers are left wondering if someone unexpected—rather than EJ—might actually be behind Gwen’s kidnapping.
Finally, Gus and Javi share a conversation about their future together, while EJ and Kristen set aside their usual games to share a rare moment of genuine, real honesty with each other.
Will Leo succeed in his rescue mission to Alamainia, or will the truth behind Gwen’s abduction trigger a whole new wave of danger in Salem?
