That is when Gabi Hernandez pointed out exactly who he was: Liam was the person who did Peter Blake’s dirty work by stocking the infamous DiMera crypt ahead of Kristen’s stay there with the others.

Kristen may very well want a little revenge over Liam’s past involvement in her captivity, but she simultaneously sees the golden potential to recruit him for a brand-new, DiMera-related project. Because Kristen hinted at taking a crack at Liam, the show may be setting up a scenario where she backs him completely into a corner.
How will she get him to do her bidding? It seems possible Kristen could toss some severe threats around, perhaps even spooking Liam by targeting his young son’s safety. Alternatively, she might choose to use some potent blackmail material against him, or simply throw an astronomical amount of money his way just like Gabi did. Whatever method she chooses, Kristen desperately needs a hitman to target EJ, making Liam the perfect candidate to get the job done.

Of course, dealing with hired help is always a gamble, and there is immense potential for this high-stakes plot to completely backfire on Kristen. If she approaches Liam with the proposition, he might simply refuse to become an assassin. Even worse for Kristen, Liam may decide he is far more terrified of a vengeful EJ than he is of her. If that happens, Liam could easily run to EJ and spill the entire story about Kristen’s attempt to recruit him as her new hitman.
If Liam exposes her, it could push an already furious EJ completely over the edge. Finding out that his sister is actively trying to have him murdered would undoubtedly speed up EJ’s timeline when it comes to getting his ultimate revenge on Kristen.
According to upcoming spoilers, Kristen will continue to face bad news when it comes to the vengeful EJ. Whether her plot with Liam succeeds or blows up in her face, she is in for a grueling fight to maintain her freedom and her life.
