Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny Exposes EJ’s Sickening Frame Job as Gabi Destroys Titan’s Last Hope

A venomous web of parental betrayal, corporate warfare, and sudden disappearances is about to push Salem to its absolute limit. According to the newly released Days of Our Lives promotional video for the week of July 20-24, 2026, long-hidden secrets are about to blow up in the faces of the city’s most powerful families. When a son forces his ruthless father into a corner over a sickening frame job, the emotional fallout will leave a trail of tears and corporate ruin in its wake.

Leo Sounds the Alarm Over Gwen’s Sudden Disappearance

The newly released Days of Our Lives preview video for the upcoming week opens with an anxious Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) entering a room at the Salem Inn. As he walks in, he finds a maid actively cleaning up the space, prompting him to voice his growing concerns.

Leo notes the lack of mess, observing, “Would you look at that, her bed is still turned down.” Realizing that something is fundamentally wrong, Leo goes on to acknowledge that “she” never came home last night.

The woman in question is none other than Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). As dedicated fans will recall, Gwen was abruptly kidnapped at the very end of the Friday, July 17 episode. With the room completely untouched, viewers are left wondering: will a highly suspicious Leo put two and two together to realize that Gwen is officially missing in action?

Holly’s Departure Disaster and Gabi’s Devastating Titan Ultimatum

Meanwhile, an entirely different kind of trap springs shut on an innocent teenager. The next clip features a hopeful Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) showing a happy face as she innocently asks Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) if she is finally cleared to go home.

Unfortunately for Holly, both her aunt and her boyfriend look incredibly serious and completely unyielding. Sarah is forced to deliver a crushing blow to her niece, telling her, “No, honey, you can’t.”

A confused Holly immediately asks, “Why,” prompting Sarah to pull out the damning piece of evidence: the baggie of pills that Tate previously discovered hidden in Holly’s carry-on luggage. The emotional stakes skyrocket as Holly faces the horrifying realization that her loved ones believe she has relapsed.

The corporate landscape of Salem takes an equally devastating hit as the weekly promo continues.

Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) is shown arriving at Titan for a high-stakes meeting with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Any hopes the Kiriakis men had for a smooth business deal are instantly obliterated when Gabi sternly informs them that she is officially rescinding her offer to bail out Titan. Both Philip and Xander are left staring back at her with expressions of absolute shock and complete devastation as their last corporate lifeline slips away.

Heartbreak at Bayview and Johnny’s Explosive Confrontation with EJ

Over at Bayview, the emotional temperature reaches a fever pitch for the DiMera family. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is shown locked in a deeply emotional, tearful embrace with her young daughter, Rachel Black (Lorelei Oliva Mote), while a somber Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) watches the heartbreaking scene unfold.

A weeping Kristen tells Rachel that she is deeply hurt, pouring her heart out to her young daughter. The emotional mother goes on to declare, “You’re my greatest treasure. I want your life to be bright and beautiful.”

As the high-octane Days of Our Lives preview for the week of July 20 wraps up, the drama shifts directly back to the DiMera mansion, where a monumental family confrontation explodes. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) stands his ground against his father, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Defensive as always, EJ asks his son what exactly Johnny is accusing him of doing. Johnny refuses to back down, dropping a massive bombshell as he sharply replies, “I think you can guess. You planted those drugs in her bag, didn’t you?”

As the promo draws to a poignant close, the devastating real-world consequences of EJ’s corporate cover-up are laid bare. A visibly shattered and crying Holly is shown leaving the hospital completely alone, isolated by a lie she didn’t commit.

What do you think, Days of Our Lives fans? Will EJ find a way to lie his way out of Johnny’s direct accusations, or has the corporate titan finally been cornered? Can Xander and Philip find another way to save Titan now that Gabi has pulled her funding? Share your thoughts and burning predictions in the comments section below!
