Slinking Through Rome and Cash-Fueled Celebrations in Monte Carlo
During the week of September 14–18, Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) put on their sleuthing hats as they arrive in Italy to search Dominic Marino’s palazzo. Sensing that big answers are hidden within the property, the pair digs through the location for information. However, they are not the only ones on the case. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) follows Belle and Chad to Rome to do a little digging of his own, leaving all three working to uncover whatever news they can find inside the mystery man’s estate.
Meanwhile, in Monte Carlo, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) meet up with Dante Vitali (Franco Lo Presti) and Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) to hit the poker table. Winning enough at cards proves elusive for Philip, but he refuses to back down. Desperate to save Titan and protect the Kiriakis mansion from ruin, Philip doubles down on his high-stakes gambling strategy.
Gabi grows deeply nervous when Philip pivots to place a massive, risky bet at the roulette table. Fortunately for them, the gamble pays off big time. Celebrating their massive windfall later in a luxurious hotel suite, Philip and Gabi roll around in cash scattered all over the bed, potentially ending up hitting the sheets together in the heat of the moment.

Once the high-stakes casino action wraps, Sydney travels back home to Salem for a visit with EJ after missing him during his trip to Italy.
Back in Salem, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) encounters troubling personal drama. After receiving a string of unsettling text messages, Holly begins to worry that she has a dangerous stalker. Desperate for answers, she turns to Tate Black (Leo Howard) to assist her in figuring out who is behind the harassment.
Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) finds herself mulling over her future direction. After her old police instincts kicked in to save Holly from a mugger, Lani begins considering a fresh career path that will allow her to put those protective skills back to good use.
Over at the DiMera mansion, EJ turns up the pressure on Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney), demanding details on Dominic Marino. The cryptic chessboard clues pointed directly to Marino’s property in Rome, and Marino has also placed a bid on the Kiriakis mansion, making him a major, mysterious key player.
Connecting the dots back home, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) points out a fascinating clue: both “Marino” and “DiMera” mean “of the sea.” Marlena frets over the eerie linguistic link, genuinely terrified of the trouble brewing for her loved ones.
In town, Holly catches up with Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia). Ari admits she spoke with Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) regarding his deep-seated issues with Holly. Mason blames Holly for the demise of someone in his past, a tragic situation likely connected to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and the mental health hotline where Mason volunteers.
Escalating Suspicion, Fresh Romances, and Family Repairs
Moving into the week of September 21–25, Holly tries to clear the air with Mason, but her attempt to talk things out does not yield a positive reaction. Instead, Mason doubles down on his bitter anger. His intense hostility leaves Holly suspecting that Mason himself might be the person harassing her through anonymous texts.
