Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ’s Diabolical Cover-Up Ignites Fury and Framed Lovers in Salem

A Desperate Race to Save Holly and EJ’s Cruel Countermove

The town of Salem is bracing for an absolute whirlwind of deception, medical emergencies, and explosive confrontations. Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 6-10 indicate that Bonnie Kiriakis is set to return for some brand-new scenes, while Rafe Hernandez issues a stern warning and Paulina Price completely unleashes her anger.

The most critical drama unfolds at University Hospital, where a vital hint regarding Holly Jonas’ rapidly deteriorating condition will land right in Sarah Horton’s lap in the nick of time. Thanks to this sudden breakthrough, Sarah will finally realize it is arsenic that has been making Holly so incredibly sick. Johnny DiMera’s secret office mission comes heavily into play here, since he will apparently be the direct reason Sarah manages to get her hands on this life-saving clue.

However, the fallout from this discovery will create massive fractures within the DiMera mansion. EJ DiMera is set to face Johnny’s absolute fury later, as his son will not at all appreciate being caught up in the middle of all this dangerous underhandedness. Despite his son’s anger, EJ seems poised to double down on his high-stakes cover-up anyway. He may very well be responsible for an incoming pill frame-up involving Holly soon enough.

Perhaps EJ will pull the strings behind the scenes to make sure the tested water supply comes back entirely clean. By doing so, it will falsely appear as though Holly voluntarily scored illicit pills elsewhere. Whatever the exact case turns out to be, spoilers reveal that Sarah will throw some heavy, drug-related allegations at Holly. The situation will go from bad to worse when Holly is left utterly appalled because Tate Black seems to think she is back on drugs, too.

Heated Clashes, Hypnosis, and Protective Warnings

Meanwhile, the social dynamics around Salem are growing increasingly hostile. After Theo Carver enjoys a warm bonding session with Chanel Dupree DiMera, he will cross paths with Gabi Hernandez. Their encounter will instantly sour as Theo blows up at her yet again. This time, however, Gabi is poised to strike back fiercely. She is completely fed up with Theo’s stubborn refusal to extend any form of forgiveness. While Gabi certainly made a major mistake when she previously accused Theo of blabbing her secret to Philip Kiriakis, she has apologized repeatedly and firmly believes she does not deserve to be punished by him forever.

Over in the investigative world, Cat Greene will find herself turning to the legendary Marlena Evans for specialized hypnosis help. This escalating operation will quickly catch the attention of Police Commissioner Rafe Hernandez. Rafe will worry that Cat is getting far too close to EJ, and his concern will prompt him to issue a stern threat to pump the brakes on her entire operation before she gets burned.

Bonnie’s Return and a Looming Hospital Crisis

Across town, Bonnie Kiriakis will pop back up on-screen, crossing paths with Alex Kiriakis at a moment when he realizes he could really use an outside perspective. Bonnie may have some genuine words of wisdom to offer regarding Alex’s increasingly tricky dilemma involving Stephanie Kiriakis and Joy Wesley.

Unfortunately for Alex, far more drama is already heading his way. It seems Stephanie may intentionally hide Joy’s attempt to get in touch with Alex over the phone. This deception could quickly morph into a massive issue, especially since young Kelsey Kiriakis is slated to land in the hospital soon enough.

While family emergencies threaten the Kiriakis clan, Leo Stark will be busy elsewhere, attempting to extract some genuine compassion from Javi Hernandez.

Paulina and Lexie Confront the Men in Their Lives

The emotional fireworks will truly erupt when Days of Our Lives viewers witness Paulina Price absolutely rip into Abe Carver. Perhaps a frustrated Paulina will find herself completely fed up with all the exhausting mixed signals passing between them. If so, she is highly likely to push Abe to just give her some much-needed space, operating under the assumption that they simply cannot be together right now.

Finally, the DiMera family will face another internal revolt when Lexie Carver confronts EJ. Lexie is set to furiously rant at EJ for callously using her as an unsuspecting test subject. She will call him out for failing to consider the potentially deadly consequences of his actions, as well as how deeply this entire betrayal would hurt her emotionally.

An unrepentant EJ will attempt to smooth things over, trying to convince Lexie that he only ever wants what is best for the DiMera family legacy. His corporate excuses are bound to fall flat; Lexie will remain deeply distraught as she realizes that her time is rapidly running out.

Will EJ’s ruthless attempts to protect the family name completely destroy his relationship with his son, or will his elaborate frame-up succeed in ruining Holly and Tate’s future for good?
