Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex Uncovers Stephanie’s Betrayal While Lexie Confesses Her Tragic Demise

The town of Salem is hurtling toward a massive two-week stretch of devastating medical realities, deep-seated marital betrayals, and ruthless corporate setups. Days of Our Lives spoilers for July 13 to July 24 indicate that some truly monumental surprises are just around the corner. Over the next two weeks, long-term relationships will be tested to their absolute limits, and deeply buried secrets will be spilled across town, forever altering the landscape for the Kiriakis, DiMera, and Carver families.
A Fatal Cure and a Shattered Marriage: The Drama of July 13–17
The emotional weight of the week of July 13–17 begins with a tragic realization for Lexie Carver. It looks like Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s miracle drug concoction was only a temporary fix after all. Realizing her time is officially running out, Lexie will make a heartbreaking confession about her looming demise to Marlena Evans.
As Lexie grapples with her mortality, a localized storm is brewing inside the Kiriakis household. Alex Kiriakis is about to put the pieces of a painful puzzle together. He will realize that Stephanie Kiriakis intentionally deleted Joy Wesley’s frantic voicemail. Alex is bound to fume over this underhanded move, especially since Joy was in severe distress alongside little Kelsey Kiriakis following a terrifying car accident.
Thankfully, Kelsey and Joy are going to be perfectly fine physically, but the same cannot be said for Alex and Stephanie’s fragile marriage. The couple faces even more compounding issues when a guilt-ridden Stephanie engages in a drunk bonding session at Small Bar with Theo Carver, who is drowning his own sorrows. Theo is struggling heavily after his father, Abe Carver, came clean about working behind his back with EJ DiMera to aggressively shove Theo right out of the DiMera Enterprises’ CEO seat.
Following their heavy drinking session, Stephanie will do a highly intoxicated Theo a major favor by letting him crash on her sofa so he doesn’t have to face Abe or get behind the wheel. However, this act of kindness backfires spectacularly. When Alex returns home from the hospital, he will find a shirtless Theo fast asleep on his couch. While a panicked Stephanie may scramble to explain the innocent context of the situation, Alex may insist that the far larger, unforgivable issue is her deleting Joy’s voicemail and actively trying to interfere with his ability to step up as a devoted father to Kelsey.
Shifting Alliances, Honey Traps, and Chessboard Breakthroughs
The DiMera family is facing its own internal civil war. A vulnerable EJ DiMera is set to lose ownership of the hospital, which triggers a massive, explosive fight with his son, Johnny DiMera. Stripped of his corporate armor, EJ will show off his rarely seen vulnerable side to Cat Greene. This sudden emotional intimacy means Cat’s assignment is about to get significantly more complicated, as real feelings for EJ continue to develop despite her honey trap intentions.
Across town, Belle Black and Chad DiMera are refusing to let the past stay buried. The duo will dig even deeper for clues regarding Stefano DiMera’s final chessboard mystery. A major breakthrough discovery is officially on the way, allowing Chad and Belle to make some serious, long-awaited progress.
Meanwhile, social dynamics are shifting rapidly elsewhere in Salem. Gabi Hernandez will successfully strengthen her personal bond with Gwen Rizczech. On the other hand, a chaotic encounter is brewing for Leo Stark, who is set to have an incredibly uncomfortable and awkward run-in with Javi Hernandez and Gus.
As the first week draws to a close, the focus shifts back to Lexie, who will deliver shocking news to a stunned Kristen DiMera. Viewers are left wondering if Lexie will come completely clean to Kristen next about EJ’s failed medical experiment and the tragic reality that she is on her way to an early grave once again.
Regardless of what Lexie reveals, Kristen will have plenty of her own anxieties to manage following Rachel Black’s imminent release from Bayview. Kristen will be left deeply unsettled over whatever severe retaliation EJ might unleash to get even for her previous Johnny murder plot, leaving her deeply worried about how Rachel might be negatively affected by the crossfire. Marlena will also harbor her own fears regarding Rachel’s state of mind, and she may eventually hear from a concerned Brady Black, who realizes he is incredibly uneasy about whatever secrets Kristen is actively keeping from him.
Setups, Breakups, and Revenge: The Spoilers for July 20–24
The drama intensifies at the hospital during the week of July 20–24, trapping a couple of Salem’s young lovers in a toxic web of lies. Tate Black will go digging through Holly Jonas’ bag, only to uncover some planted pills. The fake evidence is deliberately meant to make Holly look like she is struggling with a secret drug addiction. This shocking discovery goes completely against Holly’s repeated, earnest denials of taking any substances beyond her officially prescribed antidepressant.
A concerned Tate and Sarah Horton will immediately confront a defensive Holly about the contraband. Holly will be absolutely appalled over the harsh accusations, maintaining with everything she has that the pills simply do not belong to her. This massive breach of trust may ultimately bring about Tate and Holly’s official breakup, as she won’t appreciate his total lack of faith in her word. For his part, EJ may actually feel a fleeting hint of guilt about setting up an innocent Holly, but he will ultimately dismiss it as a necessary evil to protect the overall reputation of DiMera Enterprises and the legacy of the DiMera family.
Finally, the remaining days of July will bring a mixture of family friction and romantic developments. Gabi will reach out to Arianna “Ari” Hernandez in another earnest attempt to repair their fractured relationship, but Ari may not be willing to budge or forgive her just yet.
In a surprising turn of events, Xander Kiriakis will develop a significantly stronger connection with Kristen as they mutually plot EJ’s ultimate destruction. This dark alliance has fans speculating whether the two co-conspirators could potentially become a real romantic couple at some point down the road. Lastly, the two weeks will conclude on a sweeter note for Lani Price-Grant, who will enjoy some much-needed romantic quality time with Eli Grant and happily accept a gorgeous necklace as a belated anniversary present.
Will Alex find it in his heart to forgive Stephanie’s dangerous interference with his daughter, or has her thirst for revenge permanently cost her her marriage?
