The weekly promo opens inside Ted Richardson’s hospital office, where a surprisingly tender exchange takes place between exes. Ted corners Nicole Dupree, asking her point-blank if she is falling in love with either Dr. Kial Rollins or Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald.
Rather than brushing off the probing question, Nicole responds with a sweet smile, telling him, “You still know me better than anyone.” It is a surprisingly soft and affectionate moment between two former spouses, leaving fans to wonder whether Beyond the Gates might be quietly laying the groundwork for an eventual Ted and Nicole reunion down the line.
Painting the Town Red and a Bedroom Surprise
Despite the lingering emotional connection with her ex, Nicole’s current romantic life is moving full speed ahead. Over at the Dupree mansion, a vibrant Anita Dupree excitedly informs Veron Dupree and Martin Richardson that she wants to “paint the town red.” The family clearly has plenty to be grateful for, and Anita is determined to make the most of it.
Later, while spending time at the country club with Kial, Nicole reads off a text message from her mother. She informs her boyfriend that Anita has formally requested their appearance at Uptown. The party quickly gets under way, with clips showing the entire Dupree family—Kial included—dancing the night away on the crowded floor.
However, the real action takes place after the night of partying wraps up. Back at home, Nicole and Kial take things to the bedroom to get their groove on. In the middle of their intimate moment, a shocked Nicole gasps and demands to know what the intruder is doing.
It turns out to be none other than Dani Dupree standing in the doorway! Shielding her eyes with a laugh, Dani offers a playful “Oopsie!” before stepping back outside. Meanwhile, at Joey Armstrong’s casino, the two most important blondes in his life clash during a tense first impression. Vanessa McBride finds herself face-to-face with Joey’s sister, Heather Armstrong.
Heather pulls no punches when establishing her boundaries, sternly warning Vanessa, “I don’t sling drinks, and I don’t shuffle cards.” She then drops a bombshell about her history with Joey, adding, “I’m not a sex worker, but I did share a bed with Joey for many years.”
