Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ Walks In as Marlena Presses Rita Over Dominic’s Secret
The stakes in Salem have never been higher as father-son feuds, dangerous deceptions, and long-buried family secrets collide. EJ DiMera is officially on the warpath, raging over explosive revelations regarding Dominic’s parentage while simultaneously facing legal reckoning from his own son, Johnny. With Joy’s elaborate fraud hitting major roadblocks and Kristen making a jaw-dropping discovery about a presumed-dead Salem resident, the upcoming week promises non-stop drama across the board.
DiMera Family Explosions and Johnny’s Reckoning
The tension surrounding EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) reaches a boiling point after he overheard Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) demanding whether Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) and Stefano DiMera were Dominic’s true parents. An unhinged EJ unleashes his wrath on Rita, who desperately vows her loyalty to him. However, Rita is the least of EJ’s worries. Over at the precinct, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) turns directly to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to confess the full truth about DiMera Pharmaceuticals’ cover-up with Coriseal and EJ’s malicious setup targeting Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Rafe commends Johnny for doing the right thing while warning him that he could be implicated and risks losing his father forever.
As the week of October 5–9 unfolds, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) puts EJ squarely in the hot seat over Johnny’s shocking allegations. Johnny relies on Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) as he makes challenging decisions, eventually asking her to make a critical promise. With the law closing in, EJ demands answers from Rita regarding Dominic, but the walls are rapidly closing in on the DiMera empire.
Joy’s Fake Paralysis Scheme Hits a Crisis
Across town, Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) scheme to fake paralysis hits severe complications. After taking father-provided muscle relaxers to skew her medical nerve testing, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) initially informed Joy the tests showed nerve damage. However, keeping up the lie is proving nearly impossible. Joy’s fears about her future continue to mount, especially when Kayla’s upcoming discharge instructions thoroughly upset her.
Adding to her stress, Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sarah unintentionally put Joy’s plan in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) becomes even more determined to spend time with his wife, unaware of her ongoing deceit. As Alex and Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) share additional alone time, Stephanie finds herself pleasantly surprised by Alex, setting up a potentially explosive fallout once Joy’s fake paralysis is finally exposed.
Shocking Confessions and Dante’s Sudden Arrival
Secrets are also shattering the Brady and Black families. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) continue digging into clues surrounding Dominic, with Steve testing a Verdi program for Rita’s fingerprints. Marlena eventually leans on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), questioning if she ever carried Dominic or if Stefano tormented her through other means. The emotional weight culminates when Marlena makes a stunning confession to Belle about Dominic’s parentage, leaving Belle utterly shocked before she turns to Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) for assistance.
Meanwhile, Dante Vitali (Franco Lo Presti) makes a surprise visit to Salem, catching Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) completely off guard. As Dante catches up with his stepdaughter-to-be, viewers are left to wonder what ulterior motives brought him to town. Elsewhere, Roman Brady shocks Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) joins forces with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) on a new business move.
Brady’s Agony and Kristen’s Explosive Discovery
At the hospital, Brady Black faces a heartbreaking crisis as young Rachel Black suffers a medical emergency, leaving him desperate to help his daughter. Brady faces a difficult task and worries deeply for Rachel’s health, which may lead him to reach out to his fugitive ex.
The weekly updates end on the ultimate bombshell: while tracking down leads away from Salem, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) makes a startling discovery when she crosses paths with Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). Confirming that Sophia is indeed alive and hiding out under a disguised identity, Kristen’s discovery threatens to send shockwaves straight back to Salem—and particularly to Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate.
With EJ facing total ruin, Marlena’s family secrets out in the open, and Sophia’s survival revealed, Salem is on the brink of an absolute meltdown. How will EJ react when he realizes Johnny has completely betrayed him to the police, and what will Kristen do now that she holds Sophia’s fate in her hands?
