General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Hits a Roadblock as Anna Refuses Her Shocking Favor

Lulu Spencer is hot on the trail of what she believes could be the story of the century, and she is not holding back. Driven by fresh dirt and big ambitions, her relentless pursuit of the truth is set to send shockwaves straight through Port Charles. On the Wednesday, October 7 episode of General Hospital, secret agendas, bitter rivalries, and growing suspicions take center stage as several residents find themselves navigating perilous personal and investigative waters.

Lulu Targets Willow with Drew’s Help

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) feels like she is on the absolute verge of breaking a massive bombshell narrative. Having just pushed Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to spill more details regarding Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wrongdoings, Lulu already arrives at the table armed with crucial details. However, she needs another key player to make her piece truly airtight.

Lulu manages to convince Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to sit down with her to discuss Willow following Sidwell’s incriminating commentary. During their sit-down, Drew has the perfect opportunity to offer his own take on the situation and publicly blast Willow for all the terrible things she has done. Shrewdly stroking Drew’s ego, Lulu suggests that it is high time the media turns Willow into the true villain of this saga rather than him. Drew may very well take the bait, partnering with Lulu to help her craft a slam-dunk article that tears Willow’s reputation to shreds.

Teen Secrets and Gym Overhearings

While investigative plots brew on one side of town, teenage turmoil is heating up on the other. Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) ends up grilling Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) when she gets a bit too pushy for his liking. Scout is currently on an earnest mission to repair the fractured friendship between Danny and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

Scout’s sudden fixating on their feud immediately raises red flags for Danny, who cannot understand why she cares so deeply about getting them back on good terms. To keep him off her track, Scout has to tread lightly and carefully explain her motivations without accidentally tipping Danny off to her secret romance.

Meanwhile, over at Volonino’s Gym, Rocco hangs out with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) for some quality father-son bonding time. However, their private conversation does not stay entirely private. When Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrives at the gym for a workout, she catches a piece of Dante and Rocco’s discussion.

Alexis is left visibly surprised by what she overhears. Given the current atmosphere in town, their intense dialogue may revolve around Dante’s lingering lack of faith in Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), or perhaps the physical faceoff that recently went down between Rocco and Danny.

Drew’s Clashes and Denied Favors

Alexis’s day only gets more complicated from there. In addition to overhearing sensitive details at the gym, Alexis clashes directly with Drew Cain on Wednesday’s episode. Despite the friction between them, Drew still makes time in his busy schedule for his crucial meeting with Lulu to lay into Willow.

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds herself hitting a frustrating dead end. Carly reaches out to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in hopes that the police commissioner can come through on a major favor. Unfortunately for Carly, Anna refuses to cooperate or play ball. Given the delicate nature of law enforcement and Anna’s history, if Carly’s request involves the WSB in any capacity, it is easy to see why Anna would flatly decline to pitch in.

Meanwhile, questions continue to swirl around Sonny’s potential involvement in the dark events that recently transpired at Pentonville. Seeking clarity on the situation, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) quizzes Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to get his professional and personal take on whether Sonny could truly be responsible for the prison catastrophe.

Quartermaine Shockers and Sonny’s Doubters

At the iconic Quartermaine estate, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) unexpectedly crosses paths with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner). The atmosphere turns tense when Gio informs Tracy that she deserves the truth, leaving the Quartermaine matriarch thoroughly confused about what he actually means.

Gio’s cryptic remark likely stems from his rapidly evolving view of Sonny. Like so many others in town, Gio is starting to harbor serious doubts about his grandfather’s innocence. While Gio is not quite ready to completely write Sonny off just yet, he does recognize that he needs to find somewhere else to live to distance himself from the fallout.

Recognizing his predicament, Tracy may step up and inform Gio that he is more than welcome to move into the Q mansion for as long as he needs. Interestingly, Tracy appears to stop herself from completely trashing Sonny in front of the young man. She knows Gio would not respond well to an all-out attack on his family, even if he secretly fears his grandpa might actually be guilty as charged.

Despite the mounting pile of evidence and the growing list of skeptics turning their backs on the mob boss, General Hospital spoilers hint that most of Sonny’s doubters will be eating their words once he is ultimately proven innocent down the road.

Will Drew’s bitter feud with Willow give Lulu the exact ammunition she needs to publish her explosive exposé? And how long can Scout guard her secret romance before Danny uncovers the truth? Make sure to tune in to ABC to watch every dramatic twist unfold!
