Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Roman Surprises Kate as Johnny’s Betrayal Sends Shockwaves
Rachel Brady’s Sudden Medical Crisis Forces an Agonizing Choice
A terrified young girl and a desperate father are about to face an emotional storm in Salem, as a sudden health scare turns Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) world upside down. Rachel Brady (Lorelei Olivia Mote) is hit with an emergency medical situation after experiencing severe abdominal pain that steadily worsens. As the discomfort becomes unbearable, a deeply concerned Brady realizes he has no choice but to rush his daughter to University Hospital. Once admitted, Rachel is changed into a hospital gown, visibly shaken and overwhelmed by the terrifying ordeal.
Brady does his absolute best to soothe her fears, reassuring his daughter that Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will take great care of her. While Sarah is an accomplished physician whom Rachel genuinely cares about, the frightened girl longs for only one person in her time of need: her mother. An emotional wreck, Rachel wants Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), who is the only person capable of giving her real comfort right now.
However, Kristen fled to parts unknown following the fallout of her chaotic saga with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Before vanishing, Kristen left Brady a secret phone number to reach her strictly in the event of an emergency involving Rachel. Now, Brady is backed into a grueling corner as he weighs whether this hospitalization qualifies as a dire enough situation to summon Kristen back to town. Bringing Kristen back into the fold could invite endless trouble, leaving Brady forced to carefully balance his daughter’s emotional wellbeing against the inevitable fallout of her mother’s return.
A Temporary Theo Carver Recast Steps In for Business with Gabi
While drama unfolds at the hospital, viewers will notice a fresh face stepping into a familiar role. Theo Carver will be portrayed by a temporary recast for a single episode, with Tajh Bellow—best known to soap fans as former General Hospital star TJ Ashford—filling in for Tyler Joseph Andrews due to a scheduling conflict during filming.
Bellow’s version of Theo gets straight to business upon hitting the screen, meeting up with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). The two come to a mutual understanding after Theo agrees to accept the employment offer Gabi places on the table. However, their business alignment is swiftly interrupted when Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) swoops in to steal Gabi’s attention for himself. Philip arrives with a brand-new scheme brewing in his mind, leaving fans to wait and see how Gabi reacts to his latest maneuver.
Roman Delivers a Stunning Surprise to a Distracted Kate
Elsewhere in Salem, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) receives a major surprise that threatens to throw her off balance. Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) finds a way to completely shock Kate, leading to speculation about what his big move could be. Roman has been taking slow, deliberate steps toward forgiving Kate for her past missteps regarding Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and the surrounding lawsuit drama. It is entirely possible Roman decides to take another step forward in their relationship by asking her to share a room with him once again.
Then again, Roman’s big news might stem from another source entirely. If Roman learns about Johnny’s recent visit to the Salem Police Department, he might stun Kate by breaking the news that Johnny betrayed EJ instead. Whichever path Roman takes, Kate will end up with a massive amount of emotional news to process as the week moves forward.
Will Brady ultimately decide to dial Kristen’s secret number and risk the chaos her return would bring, or can Sarah help young Rachel push through her painful medical crisis?
