Molly and Cody have successfully moved past their previous issues and are currently enjoying a beautiful, genuine romance. This blossoming relationship has provided a much-needed breath of fresh air for both characters following years of complicated emotional baggage.

Despite her romantic happiness, the idea of motherhood remains complex for Molly. She suffers from endometriosis, a condition that makes conceiving naturally nearly impossible. The issue isn’t necessarily that Molly dislikes the idea of having children, but rather her deep trauma regarding alternative paths to parenthood. After having her dreams repeatedly trampled, Molly harbors intense fear surrounding surrogacy and adoption.
Her previous attempts to build a family with T.J. ended in overwhelming tragedy. Their first surrogacy attempt ended in a painful miscarriage. When her sister, Kristina Corinthos-Davis, stepped up as a surrogate for their second attempt, the situation spiraled into complete disaster. Kristina became overly attached to the baby and wanted to keep the child for herself. The nightmare culminated when the baby was tragically stillborn following an accident Kristina suffered during a heated altercation with Ava Jerome at the Metro Court.
