A joint return would finally grant Heather the chance to bond with her daughter, even if that connection is forged through stirring up fresh trouble together as a lethal team.
Reclaiming Ace and Targeting Trina Robinson
If Esme and Heather do team up, they certainly won’t lack motivation or targets in Port Charles. Reclaiming little Ace Cassadine would undoubtedly top Esme’s priority list, giving her a driving purpose to fight her way back into town. Between fighting for her son and plotting revenge against her laundry list of old enemies, a joint reign of terror between mother and daughter would shake up multiple households.
Furthermore, Trina Robinson is currently dealing with a unsettling mystery stalker in Port Charles. This ongoing storyline leaves plenty of room for Heather, Esme, or perhaps both women to be revealed as the dangerous figures lurking in the shadows.
Given that Heather has very few meaningful personal connections remaining in town, reviving Esme would be a smart narrative move for the show, giving Heather an immediate anchor and purpose upon her arrival. Although Esme last appeared on screen during Laura Collins’ dream sequence in 2025, the timing could finally be right for her to return in the flesh.
