Franco Lo Presti has officially joined the cast of Days of Our Lives in the role of Dante Vitali, with his official on-screen debut scheduled for September 14.

Lo Presti comes to the soap opera world with an impressive resume. Television audiences may recognize the actor from his role as Cliff Marleau on the hit series Heated Rivalry in 2025.

Alongside Lo Presti’s debut, Deadline confirmed that Sydney Malakeh is officially stepping into the role of Sydney DiMera—the daughter of Sami Brady and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Malakeh will make her debut as the Sydney recast starting September 9.
Both Malakeh and Lo Presti are expected to bring plenty of excitement to the screen during their upcoming arrivals.
While Sami is not slated to appear during Franco Lo Presti’s initial September debut as Dante, fans can look forward to her eventual return. Sami Brady is confirmed for a dramatic Days of Our Lives comeback stint set for June 2027.
