Joy’s Heartbreaking Hospital Daydreams
The emotional turmoil begins in the hospital, where a recuperating Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) struggles to let go of what might have been. Laying in her hospital bed, Joy smiles as she drifts off into a romantic fantasy involving Alex (Robert Scott Wilson).
In her mind, she envisions an alternate reality where Alex isn’t married to Stephanie (Abigail Klein). She imagines the two of them as blissfully happy newlyweds, with Alex tenderly carrying her over the threshold to start their life together. However, with Alex currently trying to keep his marriage intact, Joy’s yearning daydreams highlight the painful gap between her fantasy and the complicated reality waiting outside her hospital room door.
Salem’s Dads Kick Up Their Heels at the Father-Daughter Dance
On a much sweeter note, family warmth takes center stage as several of Salem’s leading men prepare to make unforgettable memories with their little girls at a local father-daughter dance party.
Before hitting the dance floor, Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) share an adorable moment with their daughter, Victoria (Angelica Nero). All dressed up for the big occasion, Victoria gets a prompt from Sarah: “Do you want to give daddy a spin?” The little girl twirls in her dress, proudly announcing, “Tada… what do you think?”—a moment that thoroughly melts her proud father’s heart.
Over at the party, Brady (Eric Martsolf) reaches his hand out to his daughter, Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote). “Come on. Let’s go,” he encourages. Rachel takes hold of her dad’s hand and steps out onto the floor, joining Chad (Conner Floyd) and Charlotte (Pippa Blaylock), who are already happily strutting their stuff alongside them.

“I’m Mason (Brandon Butler),” he introduces himself. “Holly Jonas,” she responds polite and pleasantly as Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) looks on, keeping a watchful eye over the exchange. However, the introduction takes a icy turn when Mason echoes her name back: “Holly Jonas.” Rather than offering a warm smile, Mason looks distinctly unhappy to meet her. The cold reaction leaves viewers wondering why Mason carries an immediate hostility toward Holly—and whether a past grudge or hidden connection is already at play.
Cat Drops a Stunning Revelation on EJ
The drama reaches its peak at the DiMera mansion, where Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) finds herself alone with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). Burdened by the secrets hanging over their history, Cat decides the time has come to come clean about how they really met.
