On the Tuesday, August 25, 2026 episode of General Hospital, psychological torment threatens to spiral into lethal danger, while mounting romantic misunderstandings push several relationships toward a devastating breaking point.
Anna’s Elevator Dilemma and Peter’s Whispers
Unsettling alarm bells are ringing for Britt Westbourne as Anna Devane’s increasingly anxious mental state leaves her on the verge of spilling dangerous secrets. After fleeing her table in sheer distress at the Metro Court, Anna is pursued by Valentin Cassadine, who catches up with her inside an elevator hoping she will finally confide in him.
Part of Anna desperately wants to unburden her heavy heart to Valentin. However, another part fears that opening up would be a massive mistake. Although Anna knows Valentin deeply cares for her, a vision of “Peter August” whispers in her ear, insisting that no one can ever know the truth.
“Peter” warns Anna that if she divulges her visions of him, authorities will lock her back up, preventing her from eliminating all remaining traces of Cesar Faison. Instead, the hallucination demands that Anna clam up and focus entirely on her deadly mission: luring Britt to a discreet location to wipe her off the map permanently. Should Valentin continue asking probing questions, “Peter” may decide he wants Valentin gone as well.
Over at the Metro Court Gardens, Britt receives a stern word of caution from Liesl Obrecht. Fearing that Anna is using WSB contacts to poke around for information on Cassius Faison, Liesl frets over the situation. Liesl strongly cautions Britt against doing anything that could pull her back into the WSB’s complex web and leave her owing them dangerous favors. Unbeknownst to Liesl, the real threat is Anna herself, who is actively targeting Britt for permanent removal.
Josslyn’s Forced Career Shift Sparks Suspicion
Across town, Jason Morgan works to calm Carly Spencer’s frayed nerves regarding Josslyn Jacks’ dangerous WSB career. Jason points out an advantage Josslyn holds over Anna, suggesting that Carly’s fiercely protective motherly love could be a complete game changer for her daughter’s safety.
Despite Jason’s reassurance, Carly is in for a massive shock when she discovers Josslyn is taking the CEO position at Jasper Jacks Enterprises. Although Josslyn was previously adamant about turning the role down, she is now being forced to accept it as her newest cover assignment for the WSB.
Hudson Parker remains openly suspicious of Josslyn’s sudden change of heart, but Josslyn stands her ground, maintaining that she simply refuses to let Jasper “Jax” Jacks down. Because Josslyn is strictly forbidden from revealing the true WSB-backed reason for taking the job, Carly is bound to grow increasingly suspicious of her daughter’s sudden career move very soon.
In lighter news around town, Lucas Jones and Joe Fitzpatrick finish locking in their short-term roommate agreement. While intended to be temporary, this living situation could ultimately lead to a long-term stay—and perhaps a budding romance down the line.
Ric Misconstrues Liz and Dante’s Cozy Moment
At General Hospital, Ric Lansing spots Elizabeth Baldwin pushing Dante Falconeri in a wheelchair following his recent knee injury. The close proximity gives Ric yet another opportunity to misconstrue what he sees, causing him to suffer an immediate emotional meltdown.
After busting the pair looking cozy once again, Ric takes his burning concerns directly to Lulu Spencer. Lulu attempts to talk sense into him, reiterating that Ric is drastically overreacting and warning that his own possessiveness could make him his own worst enemy if he isn’t careful.
However, Elizabeth may indeed have a few boundary issues that need addressing. While Ric may be acting overly possessive, Liz is undeniably getting a little too friendly with Dante! Spoilers suggest that Liz and Ric are teetering right on the verge of a major romantic blowup.
