This major step forward in their dynamic may very well involve Phyllis finally agreeing to go on the dinner date that Matt previously requested. If this highly anticipated date gets underway, Matt could find himself sitting on cloud nine. The night promises to look even brighter for him if Phyllis decides to lean into the moment, flirt back, and make it perfectly obvious that she shares his interest.

Of course, Matt’s life is far from uncomplicated right now. He still has to face the daunting task of dealing with the powerful Newman family, and his ongoing redemption test is bound to keep him on edge. Unfortunately, they have no idea that a monster has already breached their sanctuary.

The terrifying reason behind Jack’s absence is the brutal attack carried out by Patty Williams. Patty’s violent confrontation has left Jack completely incapacitated, bleeding out, and barely clinging to life on the hard floor.

When Kyle and Diane finally make their way into the dining area, the celebratory mood will vanish.
