High-stakes medical emergencies, bitter family betrayals, and awkward romantic overtures are taking center stage in Salem. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, August 18, 2026, Theo Carver suffers a devastating blow when he realizes Johnny DiMera kept him completely in the dark regarding Lexie Carver, while a night out at the Brady Pub brings unexpected emotional tension.
Trivia Night at the Brady Pub and Awkward Connections
Days of Our Lives takes a walk on the lighter side on Tuesday as several fan-favorite Salemites try to enjoy themselves amid the surrounding drama and chaos. Julie Williams finds herself on baby duty watching little Trey DiMera, but she also appears to have another date lined up with Foster at the Brady Pub. Because it looks like trivia night at the establishment, Trey has to come along for the ride.
While at the pub, they run into Aaron Greene and Arianna “Ari” Horton, whom Holly Jonas and Tate Black have just set up to enjoy a nice evening together. When Aaron catches sight of Trey, he feels an immediate, powerful emotional pull. Considering that Trey is about to become a big brother, Aaron even imagines what it would be like to raise an infant himself.
However, when Aaron holds Trey, the mood becomes noticeably tense. Julie may have to step in after realizing she just inadvertently created an awkward moment. Ari, having previously lived with Trey at the Hernandez home, also holds plenty of affection for the baby, making the gathering a deeply emotional milestone for the young group.
Later in the evening, dynamics get far more complicated between Julie and Foster when he attempts to kiss her. Viewers are left to wonder if Foster is making a major mistake by moving too fast with Julie, or if she simply isn’t that into him romantically.
Hospital Transfusions and a Shattered Partnership
While Trey experiences a eventful night out at the pub with Julie, his parents are in the thick of a life-or-death crisis at University Hospital. Both Chanel Dupree DiMera and Lexie Carver urgently need blood transfusions, prompting their loved ones to step up as blood donors.
This urgent call for help places Johnny DiMera and Theo Carver side-by-side as they donate blood. As the two get to talking during the procedure, Theo makes a shocking realization: Johnny was well aware of what was happening with Lexie all along and never said a single word to him.
The revelation strikes Theo deeply. He genuinely believed that he and Johnny were trusted business partners, as well as close friends and cousins outside of work. Now, Theo is left questioning whether he can trust Johnny at all. This painful rift comes at the absolute worst time, as Chanel gives birth and Lexie lies dying. The lingering question remains whether Paulina Price can step in and somehow resolve their growing rift before the family breaks apart entirely.
