Even though the syringes used to dope Drew eventually landed in various sharps disposal containers, Nina’s fingerprints were left on them. Nina previously managed to save herself from being exposed by Willow when she secretly avoided dosing Jack Brennan. Jack subsequently emerged from his fake locked-in condition after being dosed only once.
Jack kept up the charade until his boss, Ross Cullum, uncovered the truth and forced him to stop faking it. Despite that, Jack has continued to put his own position at risk through ongoing cover-ups.
Willow’s Reckless Mindset and Drew’s Secret Agenda
Willow’s potential for extreme danger isn’t just theoretical—she already proved what she’s capable of the night she shot Drew twice in the back. Although Drew ultimately survived the attack, Willow recently wanted to reopen the case, seemingly unbothered by the fact that she cannot be legally prosecuted for it again due to double jeopardy rules. Jack managed to talk her out of reopening the investigation—or at least he thinks he did—though no one can truly predict what is going on in Willow’s unpredictable mind.
High on Willow’s current list of priorities is proving that Michael Corinthos was the true shooter who shot Drew. This twisted logic clearly demonstrates that Willow is not thinking straight. The stakes are even higher now that Drew is awake and capable of talking, especially since Willow explicitly told him that she was the one who shot him. However, because Drew has his own vengeful agenda against the Quartermaines, it seems possible he might stick to a bargain and keep quiet about Willow’s guilt to suit his own interests.
