The high-stakes drama kicks off far from home as Leo Stark and Rafe Hernandez arrive in Alamainia. Once on the ground, the duo receive visual confirmation with their own eyes that Dimitri von Leuschner is indeed holding Gwen Rizczcech captive.
Leo steps up to pitch a deal to secure Gwen’s freedom, but when Dimitri balks at the initial terms, Leo urges him to strike a deal with Rafe instead. spoilers indicate that Rafe will step in with a official proposal, attempting to get Dimitri on board so Gwen can finally walk free.
Back in Salem, another life hangs precariously in the balance. Lexie Carver is scheduled to arrive for a swap and island transport, but disaster strikes before she can make the trip. Instead of embarking on her journey, Lexie may collapse suddenly.
It appears Lexie could keel over and require an emergency rush to the hospital. That terrifying turn of events leaves Abe Carver and Theo Carver in pure panic mode as they come to the horrifying realization that Lexie’s resurrection drug is failing her.
EJ’s Conflicted Mind and an Unlikely Alliance Forms
Meanwhile, EJ DiMera seems poised to decide his sister Kristen DiMera’s ultimate fate. EJ’s ongoing abduction plot leads to an honest, heart-to-heart discussion between the siblings, leaving viewers to see how their talk impacts his ultimate plans for her.
