Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Exposes EJ’s Scheme to Frame Holly for Drugs

The streets of Salem are about to see a wild mix of emotional reunions and terrifying ambushes. Spoilers for Days of Our Lives during the week of July 27-31 reveal that while one family gathers to celebrate a homecoming, another confrontation leaves EJ DiMera facing total devastation. From Susan Banks returning with a vengeance to Kristen DiMera getting snatched near the airfield, the drama in town is escalating to dangerous new heights.
Ultimatums, Passionate Speculation, and Sibling Rivalry
The week kicks off with major relationship friction when Joy Wesley leaves Alex Kiriakis completely floored by backing him squarely into a corner. Alex finds himself facing yet another ultimatum that directly involves Stephanie Kiriakis, prompting Joy to seek out legal advice from Belle Black.
Across town, romantic tension flares in an unexpected place. Gabi Hernandez winds up right in Philip Kiriakis’ arms as the two speculate on who could truly be responsible for running the counterfeit bag ring.
However, Gabi’s troubles are far from over. Arianna “Ari” Hernandez could potentially end up caught in the middle of all this chaos, given her strong desire to make Gabi pay for taking things to such extremes with Liam Selejko.
Meanwhile, emotional amends are being attempted elsewhere. Kate Roberts Brady steps up to deliver a heartfelt apology to Roman Brady, asking for his forgiveness as she tries to repair their bond.
Susan Returns to Blast EJ as Xander Exposes His Frame Job
The DiMera family dynamic faces a massive upheaval as Susan Banks makes her highly anticipated return to Salem. Susan wastes no time ripping into her son, EJ, fiercely calling him out for trying to transform himself into the next Stefano DiMera. Turning her son into a ruthless tyrant is the last thing Susan ever wanted, and she is determined to put a hard stop to his atrocious behavior.
At the same time, EJ’s dark scheme to frame Holly Jonas for drug use begins to crumble. Thanks to Xander Kiriakis putting the puzzle pieces together, EJ’s dirty move is dragged into the light.
Even though Xander won’t be able to offer concrete proof right away, both Brady Black and Sarah Horton will presumably buy his theory once Xander points the finger directly at EJ for planting the pills on Holly.
A Family Miracle for Lexie, Rachel’s Return, and Kristen’s Abduction
Over in the Carver household, Lexie Carver gets busted for lying. Abe Carver and Theo Carver manage to uncover some deception on Lexie’s end, though she may still manage to keep the news that she is dying hidden from them for now.
Lexie may cover her tracks by acting as though she is simply deeply saddened over all the time she missed with them. Touched by her sorrow, Theo and Abe surprise Lexie by pulling out the Christmas decorations early so the family can catch up on missed holiday celebrations.
Celebrations continue elsewhere as Rachel Black is honored with a warm welcome-home party following her official release from Bayview.
However, the joy is cut short by sheer horror. Kristen DiMera gets abducted and thrown directly into a kidnapping container located near the airfield.
Before the abduction occurs, Lexie shows up to the location as promised—and so does EJ, who arrives intent on having a rare, completely truthful conversation with Kristen. Viewers are left to wonder if EJ will realize he has taken his power plays too far, or if he will manage to get Kristen to admit that she did the exact same thing by targeting Johnny DiMera.
Rounding out the week’s shockers, Leo Stark successfully solves the lingering mystery behind Gwen Rizczech’s sudden disappearance. Realizing the danger she is in, Leo begins plotting an urgent rescue trip to Alamainia to save Gwen from the clutches of Dimitri von Leuschner.
Will EJ be able to save Kristen before her captors disappear, or will his own mother’s warnings come back to haunt him?
