A desperate crime at the Quartermaine boathouse is about to blow Port Charles wide open. The newly released General Hospital preview video for the week of July 27-31 promises an explosive five days as Nina Reeves scrambles to hide a potentially deadly move. After shoving Drew Cain into the lake, Nina turns to Jack Brennan to help her cover up her desperate deed—only for lifeguard Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri to pull off a dramatic water rescue that leaves everyone reeling.
Nina’s Desperate Attack and Begging Brennan for Help
The weekly preview video picks up right where Friday, July 24 left off: with Nina shoving Drew off the dock and sending his wheelchair plunging into the lake.
Driven to absolute desperation after Drew spoke a full sentence directly to her, Nina panicked. Believing there was no longer any blackmail evidence left against him—and assuming Brennan’s WSB secure “black box” was lost for good—she took drastic action to protect Willow Cain at all costs.
In the promo clips, Brennan’s voice can be heard plainly summarizing the madness, saying, “You pushed Drew’s wheelchair into the lake …”
As scenes shift over to the Metro Court Pool, Harrison Chase appears caught off guard as he asks, “I’m sorry, what?” Chase is spending time with Brook Lynn Quartermaine and little Phoebe Wilson. Brook Lynn may be filling her husband in on the chaotic fallout at the Q boathouse, leaving Chase completely bewildered by the unfolding drama.
Realizing the magnitude of what she has done, a terrified Nina is shown begging the WSB Chief to step in and help her orchestrate a cover-up before her life completely unravels.
Gio’s Nighttime Discovery at the Boathouse
As the promo continues into the night, Brennan is shown at the dark Quartermaine boathouse alongside Nina and Gio. Gio drops a major update on the pair, informing them that he found “him.”
Given Gio’s background as a lifeguard, all signs point to him diving into the lake and pulling Drew out of the water. However, upon hearing Gio’s revelation, a demanding Brennan immediately wants to know where Drew is right now.
Gio’s voiceover then echoes over a barrage of rapid-fire clips, teasing, “Guys, you are not going to believe this.”
The montage flashes across Port Charles, showing Elizabeth Baldwin looking utterly stunned at General Hospital, while over at the Metro Court Pool, Trina Robinson appears equally shocked by news she is hearing.
Scout Reaches Out and Willow Face-to-Face with Horror
The preview video delivers a powerful moment near its close when Scout Cain walks through a door and simply utters, “Dad.”
While it remains unclear exactly where Scout—or Drew—is located during this moment, it seems possible that Drew is awake. Viewers are left to wonder if he will also be able to speak and reveal who sent him into the lake.
Meanwhile, the drama shifts over to Willow, who is caught in a high-tension situation of her own. In the dark of her home, a frantic Willow is scrambling on the floor looking for something when she is suddenly interrupted by an unknown person arriving at her door. Spoilers reveal that a look of sheer horror washes over Willow’s face as she is caught in the act.
