General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Reeling Over Nina’s Role in Drew’s Near-Fatal Drowning

A deadly wave of near-fatal betrayals and explosive secrets is about to wash over Port Charles, leaving relationships shattered and lives hanging in the balance. Between Nina Reeves’ dangerous actions nearly leaving Drew Cain at the bottom of the lake, high-stakes corporate power grabs, and major character returns, the week of July 27–31 delivers non-stop turmoil for General Hospital fans.
Nina’s Betrayal Exposed as Drew Narrowly Escapes Death
Willow Cain is in for the shock of her life when she learns the harrowing truth: Nina Reeves is responsible for Drew Cain almost drowning. Drew would be a dead man if not for the quick heroics of Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri, who rushes to his rescue just in time.
As the fallout from the lake emergency ripples across town, Jack Brennan pulls off a crucial save of his own. By giving Valentin Cassadine exactly what he wants, Brennan secures the powerful leverage hidden inside the black box. This high-stakes move may come just in time to prevent Drew from divulging the dark truth about Willow and Nina’s actions.
Meanwhile, Trina Robinson opens up to Kai Taylor about the dramatic incident at the lake. However, the duo misinterprets the clues and jumps to the wrong conclusion, forming a flawed theory about what really happened. It seems entirely possible that Kai and Trina will end up suspecting Willow is behind yet another attempt on Drew’s life.
Jason Returns to Port Charles to Face Carly, Sonny, and Britt
Over at General Hospital, Britt Westbourne stuns Jason Morgan by giving him a sharp smack across the face. However, the dramatic slap appears to merely serve as an excuse to treat him as a patient, allowing them to retreat into an examination room for a urgent private conversation.
Jason also shares a deeply emotional reunion and warm embrace with Carly Spencer, marking the first time the two have seen each other since his grueling ordeal in WSB captivity.
While Sonny Corinthos may have a new assignment lined up for his top enforcer, Jason appears ready to chart a completely different path. He may announce his intentions to walk away from the mob organization entirely, choosing instead to focus all his energy on being the best father he can be to his son, Danny Morgan. Brook Lynn Quartermaine will also find herself in a position where she feels compelled to rush to young Danny’s defense, stepping up to stand up for him.
Corporate Power Trips and Serena Baldwin’s Debut
At Deception, Michael Corinthos is riding high on a power trip after purchasing Maxie Jones’ shares in the cosmetics company. His bold new authority triggers immediate faceoffs and executive friction, but Lucy Coe will not have to fight alone.
Lucy finds a strong ally when Serena Baldwin gets thrown into the mix. Kelly Kruger officially makes her first appearance as the Serena recast on July 30, stepping right into the corporate crossfire to support Lucy against Michael’s aggressive moves.
Secret Agents and Ethan Lovett’s Sudden Flight
Elsewhere in town, Josslyn Jacks and Trina spend an evening hanging out with Emma Scorpio-Drake. Now that the truth is out about Josslyn working as a WSB agent, Emma puts Josslyn through a thorough grilling session regarding her undercover operative status.
Danger also catches up with Ethan Lovett on July 30 when Troy Lennon Appel debuts as Hudson, a mysterious businessman who rattles Ethan to his core. Ethan’s desperate efforts to leave his shady history behind fall apart when Hudson successfully tracks him down in Port Charles. Realizing his cover is blown, Ethan is forced to make a sudden run for it. A stunned Lulu Spencer is taken aback when Ethan presumably breaks the news that he must abandon town immediately.
Rounding out the drama, Jason catches up with Anna Devane, while Tristan Roberts plays hardball with an unknown party—leaving viewers to wonder whether his tense interaction involves Britt or someone else entirely.
Will Jason successfully cut ties with Sonny’s mob empire for Danny’s sake, and can Willow handle the devastating truth about Nina’s dark actions before Drew exposes everything?
