Week of July 27-31: Lake Rescues, Hospital Attacks, and High-Stakes Deals
The action kicks off with a literal punch at General Hospital when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) whacks Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) right in the face when he asks if they can talk. As it turns out, hitting him seems to be Britt’s unconventional way of turning Jason into a patient so the two can finally have a private conversation in an exam room.
Across town, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) strikes a major deal with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Valentin hands over the coveted black box found at Wyndemere, giving Brennan the leverage needed to help both Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) by handing over dirt on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
However, a major complication arises in the whole Drew situation because Nina just rolled him into the lake while he was strapped in his wheelchair! Luckily, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) winds up fishing Drew out of the water, performing CPR and resuscitating him on the spot.
Meanwhile, Willow is already freaking out over Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) attempt to take her down to the PCPD for questioning regarding her connection to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Once Willow discovers Nina just pushed Drew into the lake, her panic doubles over what Drew might spill to the cops. Fortunately for Willow, Brennan’s evidence proving Drew misappropriated funds could give her the exact blackmail power she needs just in time to protect herself.
At the same time, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) sit down with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Emma wastes no time pepper-praising Josslyn with questions about her status as a WSB agent.
Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) reunite with Jason, catching Stone Cold up on everything he’s missed around town.
