Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Targets Matt and Phyllis as Arabesque Threat Looms

An explosive wave of payback is about to crash over Genoa City, and no one who crosses Victor Newman is safe. When double-crossing schemes, broken alliances, and phony corporate coups threaten the Moustache’s grand design, his wrath promises to leave a trail of destruction across town. Upcoming The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor could unleash his fury in multiple directions, setting up three high-stakes revenge plots that could bring erupting drama and heated confrontations to several fan-favorite characters.

From volatile business betrayals to risky family lies, Victor’s retaliation could forever alter the lives of those foolish enough to test his limits.

1) Matt and Phyllis Face Victor’s Fury

Matt Clark initially felt grateful for Victor handing him a shot at redemption, but the endless hostility from locals who still view him as a monster has worn him down. Although Matt ultimately decides to stay in Genoa City, he appears poised to take a job working for Phyllis Summers at Arabesque rather than honoring his arrangement with Victor—and breaking that deal is guaranteed to spark backlash.

Victor could execute his previous threat to have Matt thrown back into prison, or he might choose a different vengeful tactic. It seems easy to imagine Victor sabotaging Arabesque if Matt accepts Phyllis’s job offer.

After all, Victor handing Phyllis what was left of the company always seemed a little too good to be true, especially considering she received that reward despite previously stealing control of Newman Enterprises. The show may be setting up Victor to turn on Phyllis, dragging her down alongside Matt as punishment for their defiance.

2) Cane and Lily Deal With Victor’s Mess

Cane Ashby is already sitting high on Victor’s hit list, but Lily Winters could easily get dragged into the surrounding chaos since Cane is running Chancellor on her behalf. The situation becomes even more complicated with Billy Abbott in the mix, as he has an upcoming storyline where he sets his sights on going after Chancellor himself.

Now that Victor is on much better terms with Nikki Newman, he may resolve to snatch Chancellor back at some point down the line. It appears possible that Victor hopes to place Nikki back in charge of the company once her vision eventually returns.

Regardless of his long-term executive plans, Victor may create a massive mess for Cane that directly collateral-damages Lily. While Lily was thrilled when Victor originally delivered on his promise regarding Chancellor, he could undo all of it if he moves to punish Cane, block Billy, and reclaim control of the corporate giant.

3) Adam and Chelsea Pay for Tricking Victor

Adam Newman’s hope of deceiving Victor with his Sally Spectra arrangement threatens to obliterate all the recent father-son progress he has worked so hard to build. Both Adam and Chelsea Lawson could suffer severe fallout for orchestrating a phony Newman Media takeover.

Eventually, Victor will inevitably learn that Adam secretly paid Sally for the return of Newman Media rather than executing the ruthless takeover Victor demanded. Once their deception blows up in their faces, Adam and Chelsea could end up getting fired from the newly reacquired media empire.

With Victor seeking revenge on multiple fronts in the coming weeks, Genoa City is poised for a major shakeup. Which of Victor’s targets will suffer the worst fallout when his payback plots finally detonate?
