General Hospital Spoilers: Will Anna Arrest Rocco for Ross Cullum’s Pier Shooting?

A parent’s worst nightmare is returning to haunt Port Charles, and this time, the threat comes directly from the police department itself. According to General Hospital spoilers and the latest weekly promo for July 20–24, 2026, Rocco Falconeri and his family may be heading toward catastrophic legal trouble. Just when Lulu Spencer and Dante Falconeri thought the danger surrounding Ross Cullum’s shooting had finally passed, Anna Devane’s official return to active duty as police commissioner promises to blow the entire cover-up wide open.

Anna Returns to PCPD and Reopens the Pier 55 File

The latest weekly preview video released by the ABC soap features a tense scene set inside the PCPD interrogation room. Anna, stepping back into her role as the department’s police commissioner, sits down for a high-stakes conversation with WSB Chief Jack Brennan.

In the clip, Anna pushes a specific theory, telling Brennan that Cassius Faison had the strongest motive to shoot WSB Director Ross Cullum on the pier that fateful night. However, Brennan firmly shuts down her line of reasoning, bluntly replying that Cassius was not the one who pulled the trigger.

While Jason Morgan officially made his return to the canvas during the Monday, July 20 episode, his son, Danny Morgan, had previously reached a breaking point while Jason was locked up in WSB custody. Desperate to free his father, Danny spiraled after Charlotte Cassadine dropped a bombshell: Jason didn’t shoot Cullum—Rocco did.

Furious that Rocco hadn’t stepped up to confess the truth and deeply hurt that his father was taking the fall for a crime he didn’t commit, Danny took matters into his own hands. Hoping to secure Jason’s immediate release, Danny went directly to Brennan and spilled the truth about Rocco shooting Cullum.

Danny’s Betrayal and Dante’s Risky Cover-Up

At the time Danny made his confession to Brennan, Ross Cullum had already met his demise following the tumultuous events on Spoon Island. When Danny reached out to Brennan after everything went down, Brennan made it clear that the WSB had bigger fish to fry and had essentially moved on.

Believing the threat against their son was finally over with Cullum dead and the WSB standing down, Lulu and Dante brought Rocco back home after he had previously left town for his own protection. However, while the WSB may be content to let things slide, the Port Charles Police Department still maintains an active, ongoing investigation into the initial pier shooting.

That distinction creates immense danger for the Falconeri-Spencer family. With Anna back at the helm of the PCPD as a changed woman driven by a fierce mission of her own, viewers are wondering if her crusade will include hauling young Rocco into the station under arrest.

The situation is further complicated by Dante’s secret actions. To protect his son from facing criminal charges, Dante actively ensured that evidence surrounding Rocco’s involvement went missing from the official record.

Could Anna Gather Enough Intel to Arrest Rocco?

Now that Anna is closely examining the case files, Dante’s risky cover-up could backfire in a major way. If Anna notices missing evidence or discrepancies in the PCPD’s file, Dante could find himself facing severe legal and professional consequences for tampering with an official investigation.

Furthermore, questions linger over whether Danny’s verbal testimony to Brennan would be enough to give the PCPD probable cause for an arrest. Even if Danny’s statement alone isn’t sufficient, Anna’s sharp investigative instincts might allow her to piece together enough missing puzzle pieces to build a solid case against Rocco.

Would Anna truly cross that line and arrest a young boy, or will she find a way to balance justice with compassion? Spoilers suggest that Rocco, Dante, and Lulu are far from out of the woods regarding the fallout from Pier 55, setting up a week filled with high-stakes family drama.

Do you think Anna would actually arrest Rocco for shooting Ross Cullum, or will Dante manage to keep his son’s name clear? Share your thoughts and predictions in the comments below!
